Teacher Talks!

We are proud to introduce a new Speaker Series here at Rockwern: Teacher Talks! We invite you to come meet our teachers and join them in inspirational discussions about education, teaching, and the future of learning.

School-wide Shabbat Celebration: Friday, August 25

Please join us on Friday, August 25, on the ECEC playground, at 5:30 p.m. for the playground ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by the PTO-sponsored Shabbat Dinner. The Shabbat dinner will feature a delicious cookout, music, and dancing.

Rockwern Day at the J – September 1st

Friday, September 1st will be an early release day (12:15 pm) for staff security training. We are excited to offer a new program, in collaboration with the Mayerson JCC, called "Rockwern Day at the J." An afternoon mini-camp for Rockwern students in grades K-6. 

Rabbis @ Rockwern

Please join us for our first Rabbis @ Rockwern this year! We will be hosting Rabbi Ezra Goldschmiedt on Wednesday, August 30th, 8:15am to discuss the topic of Approaching Judgment Without Being Judgmental. We hope to see you there!

2017-2018 Summer Reading (Grades 4-6)

Reading consistently year round is one of the most important paths to academic achievement. Rockwern students coming into 4th, 5th, and 6th grade should read at least two fiction and two nonfiction books over the summer. Click here to find the suggested summer reading lists.
