Admissions - Process

Application
  • Request Admissions Packet and schedule a tour
  • Return Preliminary Application with a non-refundable $150 Application Fee.
  • Set up an interview and screening for K- 8 applicants with the Admissions Office.
  • Complete Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) forms online, if applicable.
  • Give Transcript/Records release form to your child’s current school.
  • Current Teacher Recommendation form is given to your child’s current teacher.
  • Once a file is complete, the Admissions Committee assesses each applicant for acceptance and contracts are mailed.
  • Admission after February 15 is dependent upon space availability in each grade/program.

Tuition Assistance
  • All applicants are considered for admission independent of a request for tuition assistance.
  • We must have a signed contract and deposit before an applicant can be considered for tuition assistance
  • Tuition Assistance is awarded by the Tuition Assistance Committee on the basis of need as recommended by FAST
  • For families granted tuition assistance, tentative tuition amounts will be offered from our business office. Awards will be finalized pending filling of your new IRS information with FAST.
  • Financial appeals, presented in writing within 2 weeks of receiving the tuition package.
Admission Criteria

Using our mission statement as a guide, we seek qualified students who are a good match for our school. Our admission criteria may include some or all of the following specifications:

  • At least one parent of Jewish faith
  • Previous academic achievement
  • Performance on standardized tests (grade 2 and up)
  • Previous conduct
  • Developmental readiness
  • Interview with parents (or guardian) and child
  • Observations made by faculty during the prospective student’s tour or screening
  • Student essay (grade 2 and up)
  • Performance on screening tests or activities
  • Written teacher recommendations
  • Mission appropriateness of the student and family
  • Contribution to the best possible balance in the classroom, grade level, division, or school
