At Rockwern, we teach about Israel, the land, its customs, and its history, starting in our preschool programs, and then continuing in each grade level. Symbols of the Jewish homeland are seen everywhere in our school – in classrooms, hallways, the lunchroom, and meeting areas. During their time at Rockwern, our students build a strong connection to the Jewish homeland and pride in Israel and its connection to us. Our students develop relationships with Israeli students from Netanya, Cincinnati’s sister city.

Our learning about Israel culminates in an annual trip by our eighth grade students to Israel so that our students can experience firsthand the Jewish homeland they learn about at Rockwern.
