Gail Sperling
Teaching Assistant, Kindergarten
Gail Sperling began her teaching career after earning a magna cum laude Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Mrs. Sperling taught kindergarten for four years in the Milford public schools before coming to Rockwern in 1979. During her tenure at Rockwern, she has also taught first, second, and third grades, and taught multiple grades simultaneously as a Resource Teacher. She was trained as a consultant for The Responsive Classroom Approach.
Mrs. Sperling briefly interrupted her classroom teaching to become the Director of Admissions, where she loved giving tours to prospective families. After four years in that role, Gail decided that she missed the daily interactions with the children and returned to the classroom as a second grade teacher.
When she is not reading, exercising, hiking, or knitting, you can find her poring over pictures of her adorable grandchildren.
