Kate McFall

General Studies Teacher, Third Grade, ELL Support

Kate McFall teaches third grade at Rockwern Academy. She completed her student teaching in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Bowling Green State University, and her master’s degree in reading specialization from Kent State University. She has previously taught second through fourth grades and most recently has been teaching ESL to Chinese students from ages four to 15, through an online platform.

Mrs. McFall enjoys hands-on, project-based, creative learning. She loves nothing more than when students are engaged, working together, and leading their own educational journey. Additionally, watching the students' love of learning develop and seeing how much they grow over the course of the school year brings her great joy.

Mrs. McFall lives in West Chester with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Eve and Crosby. In their free time they love being outdoors. They are a running, cycling, camping, canoeing family whose motto is, “The only difference between an adventure and an ordeal is attitude.”
