Pilar Samuel

Pilar Samuel teaches STEAM and math at Rockwern. Mrs. Samuel came to Rockwern with 15 years of corporate experience at Procter & Gamble, where she worked in manufacturing and research and design product development. Mrs. Samuel has always loved working with children - which led her to pursuing a second career here at Rockwern. She loves showing children (and adults!) how fun STEAM is with design challenges and project-based learning.
Mrs. Samuel graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering. Mrs. Samuel is married to Jonathan and has two children, Joseph and Rachel, who are also part of the Rockwern family. A fun fact about Mrs. Samuel is that she has ridden in a race car at the Kentucky Speedway at 140mph. Gladly, she was driven by a professional NASCAR driver and survived that experience!
