Kathleen Gawsyszawski
Principal, K-8
Kathleen Gawsyszawski joined Rockwern as our K-8 Principal in 2022. Ms. Gawsyszawski grew up in the Cleveland area where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in English and history and her master’s degree in education: curriculum and instruction. Ms. Gawsyszawski spent six years as a middle and high school English teacher in Ohio and North Carolina. In 2017, she graduated from North Carolina State University with a master’s degree in school administration. Ms. Gawsyszawski completed a one-year administrative residency and served as an Assistant Principal, grades K-12, for more than five years.
Ms. Gawsyszawski is passionate about building relationships and promoting leadership, creativity, inquiry, and individuality through rigorous, engaging learning experiences. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, attending sporting events, and exploring the Cincinnati area with friends and family.
