She will share wisdom from her book “Even God Had Bad Parenting Days”, an insightful read about the parenting journey - wherever you are on yours. She will also share surprising rabbinic texts about how sometimes it’s really, really hard! We’ll enjoy light bites, drinks, live music, and conversation as we explore how Jewish wisdom can sustain and connect us.

Alicia is an accomplished author, artist, performer, musician, and Torah teacher. Her books include “Even God Had Bad Parenting Days,” her recently published memoir, “When We’re Born, We Forget Everything,” and “Hallelujah: The Story of Leonard Cohen.” Also in April, Rockwern students in kindergarten through eighth grade will benefit from a visit from Alicia, who will share music and her experience as an author.
